For Caregivers -- Replenishing with Rituals

When we become caregivers, it doesn't take long before we work up a list of things that could make life easier!

More sleep, great doctors, good in home health aides and expert treatment centers are all things caregivers consistently crave.  But while practical things are important, we can't forget to add spirituality and ritual to the roster, according to Rev. Sharon Leman MLA. …

I too am under the care of Dr. Hayes and tried the Botox injections just a few weeks ago. He is a compassionate man and very supportive of your retreats.

Lindsay, tell me about your cervical dystonia and how it affects you and your life.

Thank you,

Deb

Thank you very much, Lindsay. There is much need for a spirirtual side, but it seems to go the byway when you are totally consumed with this dreadful dystonia.
It rules your life 24/7. I used to belong to a website that sent me an email a day, trying to keep me aware of the love of God and the Bible, but long lost it when my computer broke. Are you aware of a website like this? It at least made me stop and think.
I thank you for your time and efforts,
Elizabeth

Hi Lindsay.
I am not going to physical therapy any more. Insurance only pays for so many sessions. I do have exercises to do at home.
I am still doing Botox, saw Dr. Hayes a couple of weeks ago. He is the best!
Looking forward to hearing about the retreat.
Take care,
Martha

Hi Lindsey,
I am doing OK. Did physical therapy with my leg for about 7 weeks and it seemed to help. Saw Dr. Hayes today and he validated that there was an improvement.
My sister in law sent me the article from the Ledger. we talked about it and he said you were great!
Take care,
Martha
