A special event for people living with Parkinson's Disease and Dystonia will be held this month in New York City.

"The Dystonia & Parkinson Patient Symposium for Patients and Caregivers" will be held Tues,, Feb. 28, 2012 from 8:45am-3:00pm at The Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue, New York City 10176.  It is generously sponsored  by the Bachmann-Strauss Foundation.

The program will include the latest news about treatments, therapies, coping techniques and current research for people living with Dystonia and Parkinson's Disease.  The gathering will include a panel discussion with top neurologists speaking about the latest research, treatments and discoveries as well as a question and answer session with the audience.

The program will also feature sessions on Chair Yoga, Emotional Coping Strategies, Alexander Technique and Dance Chair Therapy.
